Sindh Government Stops Private Schools from Charging Extra Fee to Matric Students

The Sindh government has taken strict action against private schools demanding advance fees from matric students. According to ARY News, private schools have been instructed to stop charging June and July fees for students appearing in exams this year.

Rafia Javed, Additional Director of Private Schools Karachi, revealed during the ARY News program Bakhabr Sawera that numerous complaints had been received. Parents reported that private schools were demanding extra fees in advance, creating financial pressure on families.

In response to these complaints, private schools have been warned to comply with the directives issued by the government. It has been clarified that charging advance fees for the summer months is against the rules, especially for matric students who complete their studies before the summer break.

The Sindh government’s move has been appreciated by parents, as it will provide financial relief to those already managing exam-related expenses. Schools have been reminded to follow ethical practices and ensure their policies are in line with government regulations. The situation is being monitored closely, and strict action will be taken against institutions violating the directive.
