Alkhidmat Foundation to Distribute 10,000 Free Laptops to Bano Qabil Students

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan’s Ameer, Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, has unveiled an ambitious plan to distribute free laptops to 10,000 graduates of the BanoQabil program. This groundbreaking announcement was made during a large-scale aptitude test event for the fourth phase of the BanoQabil initiative, held in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. The scheme is part of JI’s broader vision to empower the youth and equip them with skills necessary to thrive in the global IT market.

A Call for an Equal Education System

During his address to the participants, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman underscored the urgent need for a unified education system in Pakistan. He emphasized that the country’s 250 million citizens deserve access to an equitable education system, advocating for a single standard, syllabus, and system of education that prioritizes fairness and opportunity for all.

“The youth are the backbone of Pakistan’s future,” he remarked, “and we need an education system that nurtures their potential without discrimination.”

Prominent Figures Join to Inspire Youth

The event was graced by notable personalities from various fields, including:

  • Dr. Ishrat Hussain, a prominent educationist and economist.
  • Sadiq Muhammad, a former test cricketer, inspiring the youth with his achievements.
  • Veteran actors Behroz Sabzwari, Ayaz Khan, and Zaiba Shahnaz, who encouraged the students to believe in their abilities.

Their presence highlighted the importance of collective support for youth empowerment and skill development in Pakistan.

Focusing on Youth Empowerment Through Skill Development

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman pointed out a critical demographic statistic: 60% of Pakistan’s population is under the age of 30, and 80% is under 40. This youthful majority represents an enormous opportunity to transform the country’s future.

He urged the younger generation to focus on acquiring emerging skills, particularly in the IT sector, rather than seeking opportunities abroad. “The BanoQabil program is a game changer for the nation’s economy,” he stated, emphasizing the potential of IT-based exports in strengthening Pakistan’s global standing.

Achievements of the BanoQabil Program

In just two years, the BanoQabil initiative has successfully trained over 48,000 students in market-relevant skills. Beyond education, JI has actively facilitated job placements for these graduates, helping them contribute to the economy and achieve financial independence.

Free Laptops for Graduates: Bridging the Digital Divide

To further support these students, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman announced the first phase of a laptop distribution program, targeting the top-performing BanoQabil graduates. This initiative aims to provide them with the tools necessary to access international job markets, enabling them to earn a sustainable livelihood and elevate Pakistan’s IT export potential.

Call to Action: Fighting for Pakistan’s Future

Addressing the youth, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman called on them to rise against corrupt leadership and fight for their rights. “Pakistan belongs to its youth, not to generals, capitalists, or the elite,” he declared, emphasizing the need for collective action to secure a prosperous future.

Monem Zafar, JI Karachi Ameer, echoed this sentiment, encouraging attendees to ignore negative narratives about Pakistan’s future. He urged the youth to focus on building their nation through hard work and determination.

Conclusion: A Vision for a Prosperous Pakistan

The initiative by JI and the Alkhidmat Foundation underscores a commitment to empowering Pakistan’s youth through education, skill development, and job creation. The distribution of free laptops is not just a gesture of goodwill but a strategic move to equip the younger generation with the tools they need to succeed in a rapidly changing world. Through the BanoQabil program, JI aims to nurture a skilled workforce that will drive Pakistan’s economic growth, making the country a hub for innovation and opportunity
